Once the process has finished, you will be left with your gleaming iPad running the brand new iPadOS beta 1 firmware that gives you access to all of Apple’s recently announced features. The rest is now going to be handled for you. Step 5: When the iPadOS developer beta shows up, select the Download and Install button to start the process. This will require an active internet connection to work as you are making a network call to Apple’s servers. This will force the iPad to attempt to communicate with Apple’s servers in order to grab the update. Step 4: After the successful installation of the profile, launch Settings again, and head to General > Software Update. Step 3: Launch Settings > Profile Downloaded section and install the profile. This will start the download process to the iPad.
