This past weekend, Lisa and I are hanging out and we end up getting drunk and she gets angry with me over things that happened years ago and stuff just starts pouring out.

We stayed there, said nothing about it, Lisa and her partner ended up not going to the cabin which I assume was because they were at her family event, life went on. I thought this was a little silly because I thought the cabin is still the same regardless if we stay in it or not but my partner insisted on it just to be nice. We agreed that we would stay there but not post anything about it on social media or send any pictures to Lisa/her partner so it wouldn't ruin anything for them. I was pretty excited to book it but my very sweet partner was hesitant as he was worried it would ruin the excitement and surprise for Lisa if we stayed there first. My partner and I hopped in the car a few days later without much of a plan and on the way I check the app and sure enough the cabin was available for a night when we would be passing through. She didn't really say much and wished us good travels. I ran into Lisa the next day and mentioned to her that we were headed out west and might try to stay at the cool cabin she showed me. Later when she was out of earshot, her partner mentioned to me that he had booked the that cabin for her birthday but wasn't sure if they were going to be able to stay there because her family had planned a get together over the same weekend.įast forward a few weeks, my partner and I decided that now was the chance to take the roadtrip we had been talking about.

She was telling me how cool one of the particular apps was and showed me this unique cabin and stated how she really wanted to stay there one day. Lisa was telling me about the apps and websites they use to find campsites and hiking trails and I was taking notes to use later. Lisa and her partner are frequent travelers and I was telling them about how I would like to go on a roadtrip before the summer ends.
